Dr. Neelam Khan is a board-certified dermatologist and the founder and medical director of Neely Dermatology & Aesthetics, a boutique, physician-owned dermatology practice located on M Street in Washington, DC. She is recognized for her expertise in cosmetic, laser, and medical dermatology, and has been named a Top Doctor by Washingtonian Magazine for her commitment to exceptional, patient-centered care.
Dr. Khan graduated from Vanderbilt University, completed a research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, and earned both her Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Science (MSc) degrees from Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her internship at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and her dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate in New York City.
A dedicated leader within dermatology, Dr. Khan serves on national committees for the Women’s Dermatologic Society and the Skin of Color Society, and mentors medical students and residents across the country. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery, and the Washington DC Dermatological Society. Dr. Khan is also the Founder and President of the Crescent Dermatology Association, a nonprofit organization advancing community, leadership, and excellence among dermatologists in the United States and Canada.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Khan enjoys life in Georgetown with her husband and their two sons.
