Dr. Bohrer grew up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. After graduating from St. Olaf College, he completed his MD at the University of Wisconsin. Dermatology residency took him westward to UC San Diego, where he met his fiance Roxy. He is now a general dermatologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where he will also start a fellowship in pediatric dermatology in July 2024.

Dr. Bohrer grew up in a musical household, and has enjoyed finding outlets for singing in adulthood. These have included joining a medical school rock band, as well as the occasional barbershop jam session.
